Axles

We can offer a full range of axles for racing, rental karts and one off designs. All our axles are precision ground and fully machined. We can also manufacture axles to our customers own requirements and key patterns. All our 30mm Hollow axles are made with a 5.5mm wall thickness to give extra strength and won't let you down in long endurance events.

25mm Diameter
These are manufactured in two standard lengths 970mm and 1020mm both sizes are fitted as standard on most cadet karts, and are stock items. Other lengths and keyway format available on request, subject to minimum order. These axles also available (to order only) in EN16T high tensile steel, which is a much harder and stiffer steel than standard therefore is more expensive to produce.

30mm Diameter Solid Open Ended Keyway

These axles are widely used in the kart rental market and come as standard in lengths of 1020mm, 1070mm and 1143mm. They are produced with an open ended keyway and the keyway runs to the centre of the axle from opposite sides. They are then able to fit most of the karts available today.

30mm Pocket key axles are also available in 1020mm and available in EN16T if required (to order only).

30mm Diameter Hollow Pocket Key
These axles have a 5.5 wall thickness and are manufactured in three standard lengths 1020mm [used for TKM]; 1070mm and 1143mm which are widely used on 95% of the pro-karts racing today.

50mm Copper Axles
The steel/copper formula can absorb more shocks then a conventional steel axle. It will reduce the power oversteer in case you touch a kerbstone and create more traction.

The copper axle is very effective in hot weather conditions.
